Do you ever just get caught up in the "I have to's." You know, I have to get the house clean, I have to make sure everything is perfect, I have to make sure my children learn how to be have and sleep through the night... and blah blah blah...

Lately I've been on the other side. I suspect that Emily turning five had something to do with it.. They just grow up so fast. Lately I've really been enjoying snuggle time. And what's even better is one-on-one snuggle/tickle/talk/laugh time.

I guess I was just reminded of how precious they are. Yes, it's hard being a mom. But man, there are some sweet rewards. Sometimes it comes with little kiss on the check or a "mommy, I REALLY like you" or a "mommy, i think it's time for a special date, just you and me!" Or being the only one that can make the babies feel better.

I love my girls so much. I'm planning on having more precious moments with my kidos.

They do grow so fast. I always thought that was so cliche until I had kids. Being a mom IS hard, but that's probably why it is so rewarding.

Thanks for the reminder of what really matters most! I needed to hear that right now.
