One of my favorite things to do is try to make the dinners i've tried at resturants...
Tonight's Special Carne Asada. Bryan's Grandpa taught me how to make it.. though i forgot and tried to recreate it tonight. It was okay. Sadly our meat was to thick...
Does anyone know a good place to find good meat for Carne Asada?!!?!? I might have to run down to Utah just to pick some up!

Sadly Carne Asada simply means roast meat. It's like saying you had Roast Beef in english. You could have had thin sliced sandwich roast beef or you could have a 3 inch thick steak.
Try cutting it down with a meat slicer. Most supermarkets will cut the meat however you want if you ask nicely.
