A dash of Happiness....

In all my venting posts, I didn't get time to brag about my awesome husband...

So last night, he went Home Teaching.. And came home late, and i was Frustrated... i had to be at a primary meeting... and stuff.. Add that in with all the other stress.. and pregnancy.. i just left mad.. I didn't want to even talk to him... one of those "straws that breaks the camel's back' situations..

And when i came home...

He had the front room all candlelit, and music playing.. And says "i think I owe you a dance.." (we weren't able to go to the Valentine's Day dance which I was really looking forward too) He was soo cute. He got all dressed up and everything. He also had the coffee table all cute.. Normally at church dances they have some sort of beverage, and some cookies and stuff.. So he put cookies and soda and chocolates on the table.. It was sooo freakin cute. It honestly made my year... It was perfect.

He's not the kind of guy who does very much romatic stuff.. we're more goofy then romantic.. But when he does.. He seems to blow me out of the water. He does exactly what I need exactly at the right time. It was so nice to just relax and dance. And actually have time to sit and talk.. and smell how good he smells! He wears the best cologne in the world.. And normally I'm to busy to stop and smell him.....
It made me feel refreshed.. I seriously felt in love all over again. I guess I need to take more time to look in his amazing eyes and dance with him!!!

That's the sweetest thing ever. He needs to talk to all the husbands in Priesthood meeting.

That's really neat. He is a good home teacher and you are good in the primary. It is hard when church callings start to take away from family time. I grew up in a home where my dad was always gone because of his calling and my mom at times felt very overwhelmed. This went on from the time I was in 1st grade to 11th grade. Church is important but family is No.1 and it looks like with that romantic gesture, your husband was trying to show you that when he's gone, he'd much rather be with you but he wants to be a good priesthood holder too. Your husband is our home teacher and last Sunday, he did such a great job and he talked about the Valentine's Day dance and why you guys didn't make it. He told us about your family and I can tell he loves you guys so much. Brandon and I were inspired after our home teachers left.

I guess I was out of town last Sunday so it was probably the time before that...I forget. I'm pregnant = blame the pregnancy. I hope you get better soon!
