I'm so proud of him.

Today we got a letter in the mail... "Congratulations! We are happy to inform you of your acceptance......"

So, it might not mean anything to anyone, and might not get how excited we are about it, if you don't know where Bryan started out when we got married. BUT! Bryan got into Idaho State University. It might not be BYU or something people find as huge as that... But Bryan never thought he would be accepted into a community college, let alone an university. It's a big deal for him and for us.
We still haven't decided if we are going to move though. We are still waiting on some important things (like an answer). He might just finish up at WCC and then transfer to ISU or see if he can get into BYU or something.. It's still up in the air. LIKE seriously.. We have no idea. But now we know our options. We know if we do decide to move, Bryan will be able to go to school. We know if we stay here, Bryan will be able to go to school. Now, it's just figuring out what is best for our family.......
Let's look at a few pros and cons for each

WCC
Pros-we are already established here.. We have an apartment. Bryan has a job. We have good doctors for our kids. And we're close to the children's hospital (which we have to go to yearly, though by the end of this year it will easily be more like 5 times....) We have family here, Bryan's parents and My parent's both live close.

Cons-Bellingham is so freakin expensive. We've been here forever, would love a change.

ISU-
Pros-we could afford a house, and we would be paying 100s less a month. We would be closer to extended family, Bryan's grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins, closer to canada where all my extended family live. The housing market is way down, and so we could probably get a good deal, with the probability of making money off of it when Bryan finishes school.. We'll still visit washington yearly, until Hannah stops growing due to the children's hospital..

Cons- Bryan would have to find a new job (though we already have some hook-ups), I will have just recently had a baby, and family won't be as close...

So.. that's it.. Now time to go watch a movie and eat good cheese w/ crackers with bryan.

i hope you are enjoying your movie.

CONGRATULATIONS on school, that is fantastic news!

i agree, Bham is way expensive. i have always said that if there was a way to move away and know we were going to come back i would do it in a heartbeat. i love it here but it would be nice to see elsewhere for a little while. owning a house is always a plus.

either way i know you will make the best decision for your family and be happy!!!!

ps i hope this answers your question about whether or not i am in labor... teehehe. obviously not. i have an appt tomorrow and we will see what my fav old man says. plus i will definitely update when i do go into labor/have the baby. i don't think i could leave everyone hanging. :)

Sorry for the novel

Congratulations to Bryan.

I would stay at WCC until you get an AA degree. It makes transferring much easier and it's cheaper. Don't forget you'll pay out of state tuition (more expensive) for the first year or so at ISU.

Congratulations! That's great news! Good luck making the decision. Those decisions are always tricky. Sounds like you have great options either way, though.
